Financial Eye were recently invited to deliver a keynote speech at a Cyber-Crime conference hosted by Hill Dickinson. The theme of our presentation was “The Devil Inside” and how rogue employees can have a devastating impact on Law Firms. This has of course been borne out by the events at Mossack Fonseca. Other speakers focused on the dangers of cyber hackers and how criminals were not just attempting to steal money but also client data. The Chief Underwriter on Cyber for RSA explained how they were developing insurance policies to help mitigate potential losses. All agreed that the most effective approach was prevention.
